A 3D relief LEGO piece

A big part of the experience of this piece is how it changes with viewpoint. When viewed from the side, it appears as an abstract landscape of protruding lines, texture and colour, where the image is almost impossible to recognise. As you move back towards the centre, the carefully engineered layers begin to align, gradually revealing the unmistakable form of the F40.

Up close, the artwork becomes a dense landscape of LEGO geometry. Plates, bricks, beams and pins are stacked, interlocked and projected from the frame to create depth, shadow and perspective, allowing the piece to transform depending on the angle from which it is viewed.

Like all of my 3D works, hidden Easter eggs are woven throughout the build for those who take the time to explore every detail, adding a playful layer of discovery beyond the artwork itself.
